Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Who We Are?
Webastry Designs is a website development with SEO solutions and digital marketing agency, aimed at providing the best solutions to Nigeria businesses whether it's a startup or already existing one to a large well established one.
Q. How Can I get Support?
We are one click or a phone call away, just use any of our contact medium, contact form on this website, e-mail, phone number or the chat system floating on the left of the page.
Q. How Do I Start Business With You?
Easy, just click on the Get a Quote button on the menu or call us directly to get a creative brief sent to you.
Q. How long will it take to see results?
Well, as all projects are different and timescales may often be out of our control (for example, a client’s developer may have no time to work on our recommendations). Our stock answer is that within the first 60 days from the start of the projects, most, if not all, clients will have seen a noticeable improvement. At Webastry, we always like to sort at least some quick win items first so that the project starts to pay for itself almost immediately, so most clients start to results quicker than that.
Q. Do you work with agencies?
Yes of course, we will happily take on certain tasks for other agencies. We are actively looking to engage with other web development and digital marketing agencies who may be interested in offering our specialist services to their clients and vice versa.
Q. Do you charge for technical support?
As long as you're on a monthly plan with us, there is no charge for technical support.
Q. How long does it take for someone to respond to an email?
We try our best to respond to all emails within 2 hours. If you have an emergency, we recommend calling us directly using +234 903 488 05. If it's outside of our normal business hours, leave a message and we'll be notified immediately and we'll return your call.
Q. Do you work with local business only?
While we love to work with local companies, especially in the Nigeria, and be involved in our local community, we will take on clients anywhere in the world. Distance may affect our ability to spend as much face-to-face time with a client who is further away than a local client, but this doesn’t mean that we can’t find a way to make it work, and it won’t affect the performance of your campaigns.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and bank transfer. Our payment processing is handled by Stripe, Quickteller and Paystack and we never store payment information outside of their secure system.
Q. What sorts of businesses do you work with?
We work with all kinds of businesses from small to large, from local companies and start-ups to national and multinational brands.
Q. How much do you charge?
All our projects are tailored completely to your taste and objectives, so it is difficult to give exact figures as it is depending on lots of factors. We also work with companies with budgets ranging from twenty thousand naira upward. In addition, rather than having a minimum amount, we adjust our strategies, volume of work and timescales based on the available budget. We can also adjust the approach we take depending on how much involvement our clients have. If you are happy to implement suggestions yourself (after a proper explanation), it will reduce the overall project cost.
Q. Can you guarantee results?
We are result driven but nobody can guarantee results especially in digital marketing as there are too many variables, especially with SEO, as Google’s algorithm for example is a secret and evolving. What we can do and assured is putting your business or products out there in the right place, in front of the right audiences at the right time, which could potentially increase your conversions. Also, trust us when we tell you that we aren’t happy with results unless you are!
Q. How will you report and how do we know what you'll be working on?
At Webastry, we carry our clients along all the way and make sure they are up-to-date with our progress. We send monthly reports outlining performance, as well as work completed and upcoming work. We also provide action lists detailing all the areas we believe need working on, with appropriate due dates.
Q. Do you do social media management?
In a word, yes! However, we generally only act as consultants, as it is much more effective if internal teams are used to speak on behalf of a company. This is because internal teams will be much more familiar with the company, products, tone and customers. At Webastry, we will happily give training, come up with topics or promotions or find the best social channel for a client to use.
Q. What are your payment terms?
In most cases, we invoice on a monthly basis with 30-day payment terms. For certain projects we may require a proportion of the payment upfront or for it to be fully covered by the clients; for example, building new sites and payment for PPC spend. We always agree payment in advance of a project being started, and any changes in budget will be fully communicated and agreed in writing in advance.
Q. This is my first website. Will you help walk me through the whole process?
Absolutely! We have unique processes in place that will educate and help you make informed decisions along the way. The last thing we want is for you to be uncomfortable or overwhelmed.
Q. Do we own the completed website?
Yes, you always have full ownership over your website. Although we'd hate to see it happen, you're free to move your website to a third-party company.

Yes, if it’s needed and we also use WordPress, the leading CMS currently in use on the Internet. We believe it provides the right balance of customization and usability for small businesses.
Q. Are there any recurring costs involved with owning a website?
Yes. Many design companies won't mention recurring costs before starting your project, which is wrong. At a minimum, you'll need monthly web hosting and an annual domain name registration. Our website plans are a single-rate solution which include monthly hosting, domain name registration along with managed maintenance to keep everything running smooth.
Q. Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
We offer a thirty-day money back guarantee. No. We can get started by using placeholder content and some details provided in the brief given out to you while you work towards completing your content. We'll even provide you with a content outline to follow to make things easier. This gives you guidance on the type of text and images that would perform best on your website.
Q. I've received quotes that are much higher than your prices. Are you cutting corners to offer lower prices?
By now you should know that websites come in all shapes and sizes, just like houses. You'll find quotes ranging from a few thousand naira all the way up to hundreds of thousands of naira. Our websites are designed to be the perfect balance of features and price for small businesses. We've been able to keep our prices low by reducing overhead and streamlining our process. Our finished product often exceeds the quality of agencies charging ten times more than us.
Q. Can you revise my current or finish my uncompleted website?
Sorry to say but no, but you can always contact us to discuss your situation. We've found it's cheaper in most cases to start over than it is to retrofit or complete an existing website. Q. How many design revisions do you allow for?
As we are time sensitive your starter plan allows for 2 revision rounds, standard allows for 4 rounds, and our premium plan allows for unlimited revisions. We ask that you give us a comprehensive list of changes each time to make the process quick and smooth. Revisions only become an issue if it's obvious we're moving in circles. If this happens, we'll work with you on ways we can get the project back on track.

Q. What is PPC?
PPC stands for pay-per-click, and is a phrase used to describe the paid advertising model available to companies on sites such as Google (the results at the right or top of the normal search results). The name comes from the fact you only pay for the advertising when someone clicks on it. It is commonly used to refer to Google AdWords, but could equally describe Bing Advertising, Facebook Advertising or any other kind of online advertising where you pay per click.
Q. What is content marketing?
Content marketing has been around for decades, but more recently has been used in the digital marketing world to mean creating content for either on-site or off-site use in order to gain links, social shares and traffic.
Q. Do you do social media management?
Not exactly. We generally only act as consultants, as it is much more effective if internal teams are used to speak on behalf of a company.
Q. What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimisation, and while there are many detailed explanations, the best one we can think of is “making things appear higher in Google (or any other search engine)”. In our case, we also break SEO into on-site and off-site SEO. On-site SEO works on things on your own site that will help search engines understand what you do and find all the pages on your site. Off-site SEO is concerned with creating links back to your site in order to help demonstrate relevance and popularity to Google.
Q. Appearing at the top of Google?
To start with, you can’t pay to be first. While large marketing budgets help when it comes to SEO, as you can do more, it doesn’t guarantee results. More specialist smaller sites or sites creating great content can often outrank bigger companies. Although the search engines do offer paid advertising models, where you can pay to appear higher in the paid results, but these have no impact on the natural search results, find more info about this on our Digital Marketing page.
Q. Does my website need search engine optimization (SEO)?
Yes, in some form. Many people are surprised to learn SEO isn't a single process that takes place. Google has thousands of different factors it weighs in order to rank your website. How fast your site loads, ease of use on mobile, how long people stay on your site, and more are all taken into consideration.
Q. Can you help me to get my website to show up on Google?
Yes. It's almost always possible to get your website to show up for "branded" searches, meaning someone typing in your business name. It can be much more difficult to compete on industry keywords if your market is oversaturated.
Q. Can you guarantee my website will show up first on Google?
No. If someone is making you this guarantee, be very careful. There are bad actors who claim this is possible. They typically use techniques that can penalize your website or even get you removed from search engines like Google. Every business's circumstances are unique and the outcome of every SEO strategy is different. A more realistic goal is to have your website show up on the first page of Google results.
